NOTICE
TOWN OF MILTON
SEEKS ROAD BIDS
The Town Board of the Town of Milton, Buffalo County, Wisconsin is accepting sealed bids for the following 2010-2011 road project: 2010-2011 TRIP Project – Waumandee Creek Road: Recondition 1 mile Waumandee Creek Road (2 sections) starting at STH 35 (pulverize current asphalt, add additional 6” base, hot mix 2.5” thickness pavement 20’ wide with 2’ shoulders). The Town reserves the right to complete the entire project, or a portion thereof, in 2010.
The bidder’s attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to a prevailing wage rate determination which has been issued by the State of Wisconsin and that the prevailing wage rates and hours of labor set forth in this determination shall be applicable to this project.
Sealed bids must be received by 5:00 p.m. on June 16, 2010 by Robert Platteter, S3016 Danville Road, Fountain City, WI 54629.Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at the June 16, 2010 meeting that begins at 7:30 PM at the Milton Town Hall (W984 Lower Eagle Valley Road, Fountain City, Wisconsin).
The Town of Milton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part thereof. Unless the bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
