CAUCUS FORUM
(1/21/09 Town of Milton Caucus) starting at 7:45 p.m.
• Chairman must open Caucus and request nominations for President of the Caucus, by majority vote.
• President of Caucus: Nominated: Kenny Haueser by Rodney Bagniewski, seconded by Eugene Bagniewski, Sr.
• Director then opens the Nominations for Offices.
• Ask three times if there are more nominations
• If more than two people per office, have to do a vote

If more than two candidates per office are nominated, a vote must be conducted at the meeting to reduce the number of candidates to two. If a vote is required, each elector can vote for one candidate. The two candidates with the highest votes are nominated. For supervisors, each elector can vote for as many candidates as there are seats to be filled at the election.
NOTIFICATION:
Once the nominated candidates are nominated, the clerk must notify the candidates in writing of their nomination. The clerk must also inform them of the requirements to file a Campaign Registration Stmt (EB-1) and Declaration of Candidacy (EB-162)
